TECHNIQUES OF INSTALLATION OF DRAINS IN A CONSTRUCTION SITE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MATÃO/SP

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to identify the possible techniques of installation of drains in a work located in the municipality of Matão/SP. The specific objectives are: to characterize the techniques of drain installations, as well as costs and benefits. A bibliographic research and a study were carried out in a construction site in the city of Matão/SP. The use of the drainage technique was observed through a well. It was possible to monitor the veracity of soft soils, being essential, in this case, the use of a drainage system, because it is necessary to ensure a construction and structuring that is appropriate to the needs of future users of the building, being carried out the installation of a well and a water pump to drain excess water from the land, seeping her out into the street. It is concluded that the use of a drainage system in soft soils should be used as a strategy to reduce excess water and the possibility of the future appearance of pathologies triggered by water, such as cracks, cracks, which shake the structure of the building, which may make it inadequate to use and go against the needs of its users.
