Active Methodologies reflect changes in the traditional teaching paradigm and in the relationship between educator and student. They appear in contrast to expository classes, in which students passively occupy the place of spectators. To obtain greater engagement, motivation and interest in learning, a University Center, located in Rio de Janeiro, implemented the LIGA 3.0 Project – a global methodological proposal for collaborative learning, which was considered relevant to be submitted to an evaluative study. In this direction, two evaluative questions were articulated: (a) to what extent does LIGA 3.0 – meet the basic requirements that define it as an innovative methodology? and (b) to what extent are students satisfied with the implementation of the methodological proposal – LIGA 3.0? Methodologically, the evaluative approach of consumers was used, which was based on the view of the study participants. The construction of the Criteria and Judgment Standards Framework was supported by the dimensions of the Project and, from this, the assessment instrument was derived – a questionnaire with closed and open questions. The questionnaire had the participation of 19 students from the final periods of the undergraduate courses in Pedagogy and Biological Sciences at the institution, who evaluated the LIGA 3.0. The instrument was validated, reformulated and applied to the participants. Data were collected and analyzed, highlighting the following conclusions: students meet the expectations of autonomous subjects, approve of the innovative methodology, and believe in the possibilities of collaborative learning.
