THE CREATION OF THE “NEPE SEARCH” AND ITS IMPACT ON THE STUDY OF THE BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES

The objective of the project is to create a free-to-use tool to assist in the study of biblical texts and encourage critical thinking. The tool, named NEPE (Núcleo de Estudo e Pesquisa do Evangelho) Search, is presented as an internet site accessible at “search.nepebrasil.org”. It was initially developed with simple search capabilities and has been improved over time, receiving updates to this day. NEPE Search has the distinction of presenting a structured and intuitive compilation of various related data types, selected by the user through a series of customized filters. The project’s results are positive. Considering usage statistics, user feedback, and the engagement of collaborators, the tool has been notably well-received and continues to fulfill its objectives.
