Abstract

This article, of an essayistic nature, aims to present a narrative approach to the book of Revelation, which has generally been studied from a more thematic perspective. In the text, based on the references to the terms "diadem" and "crown", the plot of the biblical book is interpreted with a focus on the millennial war between the dragon and the promised Son (Gn 3; Ap 12). The story begins with the usurpation of a kingdom by a malignant dragon and follows the journey of a pregnant woman, who represents the promise of a liberator. The plot unfolds through interpretations of the apocalyptic figures of the dragon, the beast of the sea and the earth, representing different aspects of oppression throughout history. The saga culminates with the reconquest of the diadems by a redeeming prince, symbolizing the triumph of good, the restoration of justice, and the hope of redemption, emphasizing the importance of the investigative judgment and anticipating the final victory of good and the eternal union between Christ and the church.
