Abstract

People with disabilities (PwD) are individuals who have deviations of a physical, sensory or intellectual nature, which limit them from full participation in society, for a time or for a lifetime. Due to systemic changes, PwD are exposed to disorders in the oral cavity that can aggravate them, causing neglected oral hygiene. This study aims to evaluate, through a questionnaire, the quality of dental care offered to this public at a reference center in Caxias do Sul-RS. It is hoped that this research can contribute to improvements for better insertion of this public in dentistry, improving techniques and services.
