HIPOMINERALIZACIÓN MOLAR INCISIVA (HMI) EN ODONTOLOGÍA PEDIÁTRICA - DIAGNÓSTICO Y TRATAMIENTO DIFERENCIAL

Resumen

La hipomineralización molar incisiva (IH) es un cambio sistémico en el desarrollo del esmalte dental que puede afectar a los primeros molares
permanente, y también puede estar presente en los incisivos permanentes, que que pueden verse igualmente afectados. Objetivo: conocer el cambio (HMI) a un pronóstico, así como manifestaciones clínicas bajo el foco de
odontología pediátrica, y comparar específicamente la gravedad de la alteración. Metodología: revisión de literatura, con libros, tesis, monografías, disertaciones y artículos
publicado en Brasil y en países internacionales seleccionados a través de la búsqueda de
en las siguientes bases de datos: Scielo, Lilacs y google scholar. Consideraciones
hmi debe recibir la atención adecuada del dentista a la luz de la consecuencias clínicas y estéticas resultantes del paciente, interfiriendo con la calidad de la vida, el diagnóstico precoz de la HMI y un abordaje con un la atención preventiva evita la realización de tratamientos más complejos y es capaz de daños resultantes del cambio.
