LA CONTRIBUCIÓN DEL ENFERMERO ESPECIALISTA EN EL MANEJO DE LESIONES POR PRESIÓN EN EL PERIODO POST-ALTA HOSPITALARIA: UN ENFOQUE DE LA TELEMEDICINA – REPORTE DE CASO

Este informe de caso tiene como objetivo describir la actuación del enfermero estomaterapeuta en el seguimiento remoto de un paciente anciano, de sexo masculino, portador de una lesión por presión en categoría 4 en la región sacra, después del alta hospitalaria. A través de la telesalud, fue posible realizar evaluaciones periódicas de la herida, orientar al equipo de salud involucrado, así como al propio paciente y a sus familiares, adaptando el plan de cuidados según la evolución clínica. El enfoque especializado a distancia resultó esencial para garantizar la continuidad de la atención, prevenir complicaciones y favorecer la cicatrización de la lesión. Se concluye que el seguimiento remoto por parte del enfermero estomaterapeuta es una estrategia eficaz y segura en la atención domiciliaria, contribuyendo a mejores resultados clínicos y reforzando la importancia de integrar la telesalud en la práctica asistencial.
