EFECTOS DEL ENTRENAMIENTO PLYoMÉTRICO A ALTURA DE SALTO VERTICAL EN JUGADORES DE BALONCESTO

Resumen

Un nivel adecuado de reboteabilidad en los jugadores de baloncesto representa una capacidad fundamental para realizar acciones motoras que impliquen ataque y defensa en un partido. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de esta investigación es verificar los efectos del entrenamiento pliométrico a la altura del salto vertical en jugadores de baloncesto. Se consultaron cinco bases de datos científicas (Google Scholar, PubMed, LILACS, Scielo y MEDLINE), y un total de 58 artículos publicados sobre pliometría fueron elegibles como método de entrenamiento para desarrollar la potencia muscular de las extremidades inferiores y 08 libros de texto sobre teoría del entrenamiento deportivo. La pliometría es una metodología de entrenamiento de fuerza que tiene como objetivo mejorar la potencia explosiva. Un trabajo pliométrico de las extremidades inferiores realizado correctamente puede inducir la mejora de la altura de vuelo en el salto vertical. Las variables manejadas en un programa pliométrico son: duración del programa, frecuencia semanal, número de ejercicios, número de series, número de repeticiones, intervalo recuperable entre series, intervalo recuperable entre repeticiones, tipo de superficie de entrenamiento y forma de progresión de cargas. Sin embargo, los estudios que discuten la pliometría en el baloncesto utilizan diseños experimentales heterogéneos y categorías competitivas variadas, lo que dificulta hacer diferencias similares. En un análisis general, la ganancia de estatura media obtenida en las encuestas es del 9,9% (Δ%=1,0% hasta el 21,6% en el 90,4% de los casos examinados). Asimismo, hubo dos investigaciones con resultados negativos (-0,3% y -4,8%).
