LA INTERVENCIÓN PEDAGÓGICA SOBRE EL ACOSO ESCOLAR EN EL ÁMBITO ESCOLAR

Resumen

La intimidación tiene efectos psicológicos preocupantes en la víctima. Se siente débil, especialmente si tiene miedo de denunciar a sus agresores. El bullying puede provocar que un niño o adolescente tenga crisis de ansiedad, abandone la escuela y, en casos extremos, puede ocurrir lo peor, con innumerables denuncias de suicidios cometidos por adolescentes que son acosados. En esta perspectiva, el objetivo general de este trabajo fue abordar la diferencia entre los proyectos de intervención pedagógica en la lucha contra el acoso escolar en los Estados Unidos de América y Brasil. De manera específica, este estudio buscó discutir el bullying y sus consecuencias; analizar proyectos de intervención pedagógica en la lucha contra el bullying en el ámbito escolar desde una perspectiva global, americana y brasileña, de manera consecutiva; y, presentar la Ley N° 13.185 y sus peculiaridades. El estudio se basó en la investigación bibliográfica y metodologías expositivas destinadas a discutir el tema. Se concluyó que las políticas escolares deberían reflejar las mejores prácticas informadas por la investigación científica y, por lo tanto, recomendar una mayor confianza en las prácticas basadas en la evidencia y el rechazo de las prácticas disciplinarias que son ciertamente ineficaces. Debido a que el comportamiento de intimidación está tan extendido y es tan variado en forma y gravedad, no sería aconsejable confiar en sanciones penales. Una estrategia que combine la educación, las intervenciones escolares y la reforma de las políticas que conduzcan al cambio cultural parece más apropiada.
