Abstract

This work aimed to develop a computational tool using the concepts of artificial neural networks to recognize some of the beer style groups based on the BJCP 2015 style guide. For this, in addition to the development of the input patterns that the artificial neural network needs to work, the Encog 3.4 framework was used to reuse codes. The results of the two tests carried out in this work were very positive, since the neural network, in addition to recognizing all the beer styles of a group from BJCP 2015, in its first test, it also managed to distinguish the styles of four simultaneous groups of the guide of styles.
