Acid rain is a recurrent chemical phenomenon in large industrial centers with heavy traffic, capable of significantly altering ecosystems and causing deterioration in both structures and plant species. However, it is a great theme to introduce the concept of acids in inorganic chemistry and work concomitantly with environmental issues. The present study aims to obtain the results of an experimental class in the discipline of inorganic chemistry of a technical school of The Middle-Piracicaba, where the experimental resource was used for the theoretical introduction of the content of "acids". The results allowed us to confirm how experimental experimentation can enhance learning and allow a more solid conceptual formation.
