This article aims to analyze the theories of memory, self-regulation and self-efficacy, seeking to relate them in the context of studies on teaching methodology. This is an essay in the context of social cognition studies in interface with teaching methodology, aiming to provide subsidies for a better understanding of psychic functioning, in particular the relationship between memory and learning self-regulation, aiming to favor performance in relation to learning in the classroom. self-efficacy perspective. In this way, memory will occupy itself by storing information, obtained from knowledge, evoking it and guiding man through conscious self-regulation, a process by which he will develop new cognitive skills. Based on the recognition of the variety of its potentialities as a result, self-efficacy, taken as a belief, will improve and issue judgments regarding the qualification of each of the cognitive capacities, properly considered, presenting, therefore, a total integration of the person, mainly of your capabilities.
