This article presents reflections based on a bibliographic and documentary study on the continuing education of teachers and their relevance, not an educational field, having as object of study or program of the federal government the "National Pact for Literacy in the Right Age" (PNAIC), which aims at literacy All the children of Eu was born, I completed the 3rd year of elementary school with the purpose of improving educational levels in Brazil.
