Abstract

The present study aims to present the evolution of the participation of women in the labor market, the gradual occupation in leadership positions and finally try to identify if the fact exists the difference from leadership for companies, demonstrating the importance of obtaining professionals who understand and solve the needs of the company, applying the best management practices and also addresses the barriers that women face to prove their capacity, quality and flexibility, in addition to bringing real situations that some women lived until they reached the leadership.
