TEACHER EMOTIONS AND THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

Abstract

Introduction: This literature review article aims to describe the state of the art in the selected databases regarding teachers' emotions in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Materials and Methods: Literature review that identified, after eligibility criteria, ten texts in the databases: Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and the Scientific Electronic Library Online (ScIELO). Results: The ten texts were synthesized and systematically arranged in a table for better exposure of the information. Discussion: The relevance of the challenges faced by teachers in managing increased workload, social isolation, digital literacy, physical and mental exhaustion is highlighted. Considering in addition, the need to implement routines aimed at managing well-being and mental health. Final considerations: Teachers' emotions in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic need to be considered to maintain and improve mental health.
