Abstract

Based on theoretical research, this article seeks to demonstrate the influence of changes in a liquid society that differentiates post-modernity on the formation of personality, the behavior of students and teachers. The text is based on the contribution of Bauman's thought on liquid society, where the dissolution of its values is experienced, which previously showed solidity in relation to the references, mainly focused on education, and today is presented in an ambiguous way. In this sense, the study aims to analyze and reflect on the impacts of this liquid world on the educational processes of personality, student and teacher education. It was concluded that, in a society that challenges stable standards, in order to guide a walk based on more hopeful beliefs with a perspective of the future, it is necessary to have answers that can flow from a liquefaction to a plasticity capable of recovering values and innovating as ways of action that can guarantee an effective educational process.
