Tendo como foco uma das metas do desenvolvimento sustentável na promoção da saúde direcionada às doenças negligenciadas causadas pelo Aedes aegypti, activities were performed within the framework of a transdisciplinary project in the State College Dr. Xavier da Silva in Curitiba-PR, in order to provide an experience developed in the school space, such as reflections, lectures, flash mob theatrics and other actions to raise awareness about healthy lifestyle habits and guide future choices that would encourage an attitude of health preservation and the environment where we live in order to ensure the well-being and citizenship. The activities were developed with the school community, guided by teachers from all areas. Given the transdisciplinary character, themes related to environmental preservation and respect for life in its multiple manifestations were addressed, aiming at the adoption and construction of a Health Promoting School, contributing to the global insertion of the health theme in the pedagogical projects of schools. It is concluded from the experience that transdisciplinary didactic projects that respond to the school's daily concerns, manifesting greater autonomy and interest in solving problems and also allows through scientific knowledge a more critical and reflective training on the process of preserving, caring for the environment, health from the perspective of integrality.
