Abstract

This research deals with the importance of exchange programs, both for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as for institutions, bringing benefits, motivations and also difficulties. A survey was carried out among students in the early years of graduation in a course at the Federal Institute of Northern Minas with a knowledge of identifying what these young people presuppose about the exchange, what destinations would they choose, what would be the obstacles, in order to provide the institution of information on how the process is seen by its students, with a view to improving it and seeking to make it increasingly accessible.
