The association of skills development in the History curriculum proposed at BNCC (2017) with the 2030 Agenda conferred by the UN in 2015 presents possible paths to be taken in the educational field in a meaningful way and grounded in contemporary demands of global society. Thus, through bibliographic research, we propose to identify possibilities in the development of the skills proposed for the discipline of History contained in the BNCC in association with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) presented in Agenda 2030. It is expected to contribute to a teaching practice based on History on significant and highly relevant topics for students, being understood as collaborators and partners of a global and interdependent community in the most varied aspects and of which they make up all the complexity of life in society, taking into account the instabilities and uncertainties that permeate the 21st century citizen life, qualifying the understanding of the current reality as a possibility of pedagogical treatment in History classes in Elementary School.
