Resumen

El estudio explora la conexión entre las alergias, los factores emocionales y el bienestar mental, abordando la creciente preocupación por las enfermedades alérgicas como un problema de salud pública mundial. La urbanización y la contaminación ambiental juegan un papel en este aumento, mientras que el estrés, ya sea temporal o prolongado, se reconoce como un elemento que puede agravar la respuesta alérgica. La psicodermatología, una disciplina que combina dermatología y psicología, destaca cómo los problemas emocionales afectan las condiciones de la piel y la calidad de vida de las personas. El enfoque de este estudio consiste en una revisión integradora de la literatura, que examina publicaciones recientes relacionadas con las alergias y los aspectos emocionales. Los hallazgos sugieren que el estrés que experimentan las madres, especialmente durante el embarazo, está relacionado con una mayor aparición de alergias en sus hijos. Además, las personas que padecen alergias suelen afrontar una carga emocional importante, que repercute negativamente en su salud mental y su calidad de vida. El estudio destaca la importancia de una estrategia integrada en el tratamiento de las alergias, que abarque varias áreas, como la dermatología, la psicología y la inmunología. Se recomienda adoptar terapias que tengan en cuenta factores físicos y emocionales, incluidas prácticas de gestión emocional, para ayudar a los pacientes a afrontar el estrés causado por los ataques alérgicos. Esta metodología puede mejorar el bienestar y la eficacia del tratamiento al considerar la relación entre la salud mental y las alergias.
