O USO DE ANABOLIZANTES ESTERÓIDES ANDROGÊNICOS COMO TERAPÊUTICA COMPLEMENTAR NA DIABETES

Resumo

A Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 (DM2) está associada a disfunções hormonais, como a redução de testosterona livre e biodisponível, especialmente em homens. A terapia de reposição de testosterona (TRT) tem emergido como estratégia complementar para melhorar o controle glicêmico, composição corporal e parâmetros cardiovasculares em pacientes diabéticos hipogonadais. Este artigo revisa os principais mecanismos e evidências clínicas que sustentam o uso de esteroides androgênicos anabolizantes como adjuvante terapêutico na DM2, apontando benefícios na sensibilidade à insulina, perfil inflamatório e força muscular.
