Abstract

The present study is a literature review aiming to analyze contributions of Psychology in special education areas that favor the inclusion of students with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) in regular education at different levels of education. Psychology has been expanding its areas of expertise, and new challenges has emerged the psychologist.  Addressing the numerous strategies that allow the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities, in order to facilitate the continuity of professional assistance, is an important example of these challen.
