INFLUENCE OF THE APPLICATION OF AN EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE IN THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE LEARNING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE OF STUDENTS OF THE TECHNICAL COURSES OF THE FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF PIAUÍ - IFPI

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the degree of influence of the application of an educational software on the efficiency and effectiveness of the English language learning of students of the Concomitant and/or Subsequent Technical Courses at the Teresina Central Campus of the IFPI. The study addresses the concept of digital inclusion using educational software that facilitates teaching and learning in the context of teaching English. Being an experimental study, the basis of the study is the quantitative approach. The methodology is descriptive, the approach is quantitative, the approach is experimental because it has the purpose of manipulating or controlling variables. A production was carried out, which was tested and analyzed in the teaching-learning process. Second The methodology is descriptive, quantitative, and has an experimental approach. The population is 40 students. The statistical analysis of data, the usual tests are: 1) t test for independent groups; X2 test with two independent groups and Mann-Whitney U test. The creation of educational software boosts the learning of LI and, at the same time, favors more motivation and interactivity between students and the knowledge learned, thus giving success to the proposed objectives within the target context.
