TEACHING AND LEARNING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AT A STATE SCHOOL

This case study is being carried out in a state school, which will be referred to as "X", whose object of study is the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language in Junior High School. According to the questionnaires and the analysis of the field observation, this research goes through the theoretical references on the subject and presents an analysis of the students' ability to learn English as a foreign language. To this end, 174 hours of field observations were carried out with two different teachers who teach classes from sixth to ninth grade; and the students were included as the main protagonists in the learning process through an interview in each grade in order to answer the problem and objectives of this research.
