Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent neuropsychiatric condition characterized by symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. Traditional treatment approaches, mainly based on medication, face limitations and side effects, justifying the exploration of integrative approaches. Objective: This literature review aims to explore the latest evidence on integrative approaches in the treatment of ADHD. Methods: The review was conducted through a systematic search of scientific literature published between 2009 and 2024 in the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and Scielo databases. Inclusion criteria: original studies and reviews in English, Portuguese or Spanish, focused on integrative approaches to ADHD. Results and Discussion: Elimination diets and supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids and micronutrients have been shown to be effective in reducing ADHD symptoms. CBT, mindfulness and biofeedback showed benefits in emotional regulation and symptom control. Regular physical activity and outdoor activities were associated with improvements in attention and behavior. Combining pharmacological interventions with integrative approaches offers a comprehensive and personalized solution, improving patients' quality of life. Conclusion: Integrative approaches are promising for the treatment of ADHD, offering effective alternatives that complement conventional treatments. Personalization of treatment and ongoing research are essential to maximize the benefits of these interventions, significantly improving ADHD management and patients' quality of life.
