ANDAMIAJES MAGNÉTICOS DE QUITOSANO Y/O HIDROXIAPATITA PARA LA REGENERACIÓN DEL TEJIDO ÓSEO: UNA REVISIÓN DE LA LITERATURA

La incorporación y exploración de partículas con propiedades magnéticas como potenciador de los procesos de regeneración ósea a través de andamios tridimensionales ha sido una estrategia en la ingeniería de tejido óseo, que permite obtener estructuras con capacidad de respuesta a estímulos externos, inteligentes y bioactivas. En este sentido, este artículo propone una revisión sistemática basada en artículos de investigación primarios centrados en los andamios magnéticos de quitosano y/o hidroxiapatita en la regeneración de tejido óseo. Para ello, se realizó una búsqueda en las plataformas Science Direct, Pubmed y Web of Science en el periodo comprendido entre 2020 y 2022 y la revisión se realizó mediante el software Start. Se utilizaron criterios de inclusión para seleccionar las revistas más relevantes y se observó que entre las estrategias reportadas de quitosano magnético y/o andamiaje de hidroxiapatita, las más significativas involucraron la inducción de la osteogénesis endocondral, el aumento de las vías de formación de vasos sanguíneos en el tejido óseo lesionado, el sistema de administración de fármacos , suministro de factores de crecimiento y combate de células tumorales. Los resultados mostraron que estos sistemas tienen un potencial prometedor para su aplicación en la regeneración ósea.
