The year 2025 was marked by significant achievements, made possible through the collective efforts of authors, reviewers, members of the editorial board, and the thousands of researchers who access the RECIMA21 portal daily in search of qualified scientific knowledge. This recognition is the direct result of the trust placed in the journal and the rigorous, continuous work of all those involved in its editorial process.

January 2026 will bring important new developments, which will be announced soon. It is with great satisfaction that we announce the launch of Volume VII of RECIMA21, inaugurating the first issue of 2026. This milestone represents another relevant advance in our trajectory and consolidates seven years of continuous growth, positioning RECIMA21 among the scientific journals with the greatest visibility and impact in Brazil.

Currently, the journal has surpassed the mark of 4,000 published articles and records more than 220,000 monthly accesses, representing a national record among scientific periodicals. According to Google Scholar, RECIMA21 ranks among the one hundred most cited Brazilian journals, an indicator that reflects both the quality of the published works and the editorial board’s commitment to rigorous evaluation criteria and scientific ethics.

We reaffirm our commitment to the qualified dissemination of knowledge through the continuous publication model, which ensures daily updates, agility in scientific communication, and the maintenance of rigor in the peer-review process. This structure strengthens the journal’s credibility and expands the social reach of academic production.

We extend our sincere thanks to all authors, reviewers, and readers who, with dedication, seriousness, and trust, build this successful trajectory every day. You are the driving force behind each achievement and reinforce RECIMA21’s mission as a portal of scientific excellence, academic inclusion, and hope for science and society.
